Cazorla Might not play for Arsenal again

The Spanish midfielder is on the comeback trail after 18 months out with an Achilles injury and there was hope he might feature in either of Arsenal's two remaining matches away to Leicester City and Huddersfield Town.
But manager Arsene Wenger revealed he had been advised by the club's medical staff not to give the former Malaga star even a brief run out.
The French coach revealed on Tuesday: "No, he will not be ready to play in the final game.
"It’s a shame because I brought him here and I love the player and the person as well of course.
"He looks quite good, he prepares well, he runs well, he’s physically working very hard but medically people tell me it’s too much of a risk to rush him back now.
"He had to wait for such a long time. It would be stupid in one game to destroy all the work he has done."
Cazorla, 33, is out of contract at the end of the season and has been linked with a return to LaLiga, with former club Villarreal said to be among a host of interested parties.

Neymar want Real Madrid before World Cup 2018

Brazilian superstar Neymar has told his dad that he wants to join Real Madrid before the World Cup, according to reports in Spain.

The PSG forward will spearhead Brazil’s attack when the tournament gets underway in Russia on June 14.

And according to Barcelona-based Sport he wants to have sorted his future before he arrives in Russia.

The 26-year-old joined Paris-Saint Germain from Barcelona just last summer in a £200million deal.
But despite scoring 26 goals in his first season in Paris, several reports have claimed he is keen to return to Spain.

And Sport say he has given his dad the green light to begin negotiations.

Despite the Brazilian’s former Nou Camp teammates revealing they are open to his return, Real Madrid are in pole position to bring Neymar back to La Liga.
But PSG will not let him go without a fight and have reportedly slapped a £400m price tag on their most prized asset.

Neymar is currently sidelined after undergoing ankle surgery last month and is expected to be out until May.

David Alaba says he can imagine taking on a new challenge away from Bayern Munich

The versatile Austria international has been on Bayern's books for his entire senior career, briefly representing Hoffenheim in a loan stint during the second half of the 2010-11 campaign.

Alaba has a contract at the Allianz Arena running until June 2021 and is one of the most highly-rated defenders in world football, meaning his words in an interview with Austrian newspaper Kurier will not have gone unnoticed.

"I am aware that this decision will come to me. I still feel very comfortable here, but I can also imagine taking a different path, taking the next step or looking for a new challenge," he said.

"But I leave that decision open. I have goals for this season that I want to achieve, so there's no room for that right now."
In the meantime, the 25-year-old sees himself taking on greater responsibility at Bayern.

"I am at an age where I have had a lot of experience and where I would like to take the next step in my career," he said.

"It is also part of taking the next step in Bayern, of growing into a leadership role, assuming responsibility and passing on my experience - especially for young players who follow suit. I think that the club expects me to slip into a leadership role."

Alaba has previously stated his ambition to operate as a central midfielder, as he does for Austria, but is happy to remain at left-back amid fierce competition at Bayern.

"It is still no secret that I feel very comfortable [in midfield]," he added.

"But we all know that here at Bayern Munich on the left side with [Franck] Ribery or [Kingsley] Coman works very well and maybe I am one of the best in the world in this position."

PSG want Casemiro to Replace Thiago Motta and Lassana Diarra

That’s the report from Spanish publication Diario Gol, who say that the Ligue 1 giants are keen to strengthen in defensive midfield with Thiago Motta nearing the end of his career at 35 and Lassana Diarra also 32 years old.

And they see Casemiro as the man to succeed the pair. But they will face difficulty prising away one of Zinedine Zidane’s most important members of the starting eleven.

The former Sao Paulo youngster offers the necessary balance and stability as the holding midfielder to allow Madrid’s forward talents to flourish, and Zidane is a huge admirer of the 26-year-old.
That is why Los Blancos have reportedly put a £90m price tag on Casemiro - with Diario Gol suggesting that PSG front-man Neymar and right-back Dani Alves, both also Brazil internationals, have implored the club to sign their compatriot whatever cost it takes.

Such is PSG’s interest in Casemiro, whose development has come on leaps and bounds since spending the 2014-15 campaign on loan at Porto, that they would be willing to offer Draxler within their offer.

The German has repeatedly been linked with a move to Real Madrid and Diario Gol say that he was once one of club’s major targets.

Attacking midfielder Draxler has four goals and eight assists in 35 appearances for PSG this season and PSG would be willing to offer the £40m attacker in addition to a sizeable fee.
But it is thought that Zidane has made it clear to Real president Florentino Perez that Casemiro must not be sold due to the difficulty of finding a suitable replacement of similar energy and quality.

Yet Perez is thought to be keen on signing Neymar, formerly of rivals Barcelona, and would entertain a deal for Casemiro if it increased their chances of recruiting the wide-man.

Neymar became the most expensive footballer ever after his £198 million switch to Parc des Princes last summer and Real would seemingly have to break the transfer record again to sign him.
That fee - Perez hopes - could be offset by any deal for Casemiro, though PSG are highly unlikely to agree to sell the attacker - who they hope can catapult them to European success in addition to their monopolisation of the French top flight.

it this the end for arsenals boss wenger or Cech

Arsenal fans were not happy at the role Petr Cech played in Brighton's first two goals against the Gunners at the Amex on Sunday.

Cech was brushed aside by Shane Duffy as a corner came over from the left and the Irish international nodded across the face of goal for centre-half partner Lewis Dunk to volley home.

He then allowed Glenn Murray to head past him to double the Seagulls' advantage with the ball going under his arms.

The former Chelsea goalkeeper has been stuck on 199 Premier League clean sheets since December and his wait for the elusive 200th shutout goes on.
Cech has come in for criticism for his displays in recent weeks and fans hit out at his failure to prevent the Seagulls taking an early two-goal lead.

The 124-cap Czech Republic international played 333 times for Chelsea in the Premier League before being displaced by Thibaut Courtois at Stamford Bridge.

He joined Arsenal in the summer of 2015 and has helped them to the FA Cup last season.

Caution to the International Football Association Board against rushing to approval of VAR

Blatter, who was the mind-changing president when the world federation adopted goal-line technology, has dropped his initial reluctance to express his opinions about the world game.
Last month he expressed, via Twitter, his support for Morocco’s bid to win host rights to the 2026 World Cup finals. Now he has taken to the social network again to caution the International Football Association Board against being rushed to approval of VAR.
His FIFA presidential successor, Gianni Infantino, has long been an advocate of VAR at the World Cup despite all the teething problems evident in major competitions in Germany, Italy and England.
Blatter tweeted: “A personal request to the IFAB, the guardians of the Laws of the Game: The World of FIFA can not be used as an experiment for such an important change: the VAR.”
The latest controversies erupted in the English FA Cup match on Wednesday between Tottenham Hotspur and Rochdale where fans were angered by a lack of information and clarification concerning decisions.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino echoed complaints by coaches in Italy and Germany that VAR risked killing emotion in the sport.

Luis Enrique doesn't want to join them until the end of the season

Chelsea's board will stand by manager Antonio Conte to the end of the season.

The Daily Star says his position has been under threat for months.

But Chelsea's top choice to replace him Luis Enrique doesn't want to join them until the end of the season.

The Blues have also discounted bringing in ex-Hull and Watford boss Marco Silva as caretaker manager due to fears about his ability to handle the job.

The champions dropped out of the top four on Sunday following a 2-1 defeat at Manchester United.

Conte and owner Roman Abramovich and his Chelsea board have not seen eye-to-eye throughout this season, with the Italian angry at having little say in transfers.

But it appears that Abramovich has now accepted that Conte is the best option to see out the season.
